Spain’s cultural treasures, breathtaking landscapes, and dynamic metropolis atmosphere make it the perfect travel destination for my next leisure.

For many reasons, Spain is the main stop for global travelers. It’s difficult to decide on which cities and places to visit since each region has its own celebrated wonders and sites. However, I have to start from somewhere, so I’ll focus on the main attraction spots for travelers in Spain.

MADRID

Since my flight will land in Madrid, I plan on beginning my leisure with exploring Madrid – Spain’s largest city and capital. Besides its center for international business and world-class hotels, it is also a place of lovely Spanish guitar melodies, stunning architecture, flamenco dancers, delicious sangria, and some of the most famous paintings.

I will definitely take some time to explore Madrid.

BARCELONA

You just can’t travel to Spain without visiting Barcelona. Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain and the global cultural capital city. Urban architecture is enhanced by the well-known Antoni Gaudi building La Sagrada Familia, many museums such as Picasso Museum, and neighborhoods that date back to the Middle Ages.

Anyhow, I hope I will have enough time to explore Barcelona’s amazing outdoor offerings.

SAN SEBASTIAN

There are no words to describe the beauty of San Sebastian. It’s difficult to find such positive energy and atmosphere anywhere else. Gourmet restaurants, regional food, crystal clear water, and stunning beaches can all be found in this one place.

Resting on the La Concha beach after a heavenly meal is something that people highly recommend – this beach is one of the greatest in Europe. La Concha actually translates to “shell shape” in Spanish.

MENORCA

This most stunning island in Europe is high on my list of places to visit in Spain. You can enjoy an extensive walk through trails lined with fauna and flora, making it the perfect place to let off steam.

SEVILLE (ANDALUSIA)

I instantly crush on this southern city in Spain. It is historic, sparkling, lively, and most importantly, a perfect place for a city break.

There are a couple of priceless historical monuments. One of them is the Cathedral of Seville. Friends have told me that there are several nice activities for travelers such as a flamenco show, a walk through the Real Alcanzar gardens, or a romantic boat ride on the Plaza de Espana.

A FEW MORE WORDS

Something that just occurred to me is that there is actually a whole lot more besides famous Costas beaches, historical Roman ruins, plenty of sun rays, regional cuisine, best wines in the world, and many more.

After all, Spain has a lot to offer, and I would love to visit all the teeny tiny Spain treasures that make this country the greatest world travel destination.

Did you know that Spain is one of the most visited countries in the world? Around 85 million people visit Spain each year!
